I really shouldn't view these threads for my own good.  I get all excited about the awesomeness of Europe (kind of like a sugar rush)...then I crash shortly after viewing them, because I realize that I'm not there...and won't be any time soon.

same here, as in "...won't be (there) any time soon," but entire series (incl. London and New York-from-the-air) was breathtaking. Only omission: the "Mona Lisa"--maybe next time! thanks

You'll never get a photo of the Mona Lisa.  They have tight restrictions in that room and they'll take away your camera INSTANTLY if you even pull the contraption out to get a photo of her.

yea...they are tight on that.  however, i snuck up and got my camera out and was taking a picture of the mona lisa when some random guy put his hand in front of my camera and said "no".  if it wasnt for him I would have got it.  oh well, its kind of underwhelming if you ask me. 

You are the man Chris!  Glad we decided to get that camera for you.  It has paid off.
