Here's what happened to the planned Findlay Market food hall

Back before Kroger opened downtown Cincinnati's first food hall inside of its new 1010 On the Rhine store, a prominent Cincinnati restaurant group was planning its own at Findlay Market. But those plans ceased last week.

Any idea what might go into the People's Liberty space in the Globe Building now that People's Liberty is winding down? I assume it would be fairly desirable office space for just about any company that wants to attract younger workers.

4EG is up on the 4th floor of the Globe Building... but I'm not sure if anybody has leased the 2nd floor where People's Liberty had their offices.

I'm not familiar with the Lightship Real Estate Fund, but apparently they have purchased the Globe Building and are looking for an operator to run a co-working space out of the building:

I wish they would put a clock back in the tower.

Anybody know what’s going on with 1821 Race St? It is owned by the Port and has scaffolding up, seemingly for roof repair.

the scaffolding is for masonry repair. last time I looked they had removed roughly the top 10 feet or so of brick (and were presumably set to re-lay that).

I have to imagine Findlay Market will benefit greatly from all of the new development and increased residential population in the surrounding area. Grifton Apartments (affordable apartments), Findlay Garage, and Liberty & Elm (market rate apartments) visible below. Logan Commons (affordable senior housing) is also under construction just behind the Film Center building.

Northern Over-the-Rhine Development

Hoping that the opening of Findlay Garage will allow some of the surface parking lots in the area to be developed as well.

its amazing how much the streetwall has changed from Findlay to Liberty in just the last year and half.  There are also smaller developments along Green Street by 3cdc and many more properties on Vine being redeveloped by Model and 3CDC as we speak. Even within the bounds of Findlay Market itself, Eckerlin meats is temporarily across the street because stairwells are being added to allow the upper floor units along Elder street to be inhabited. Don't forget the planned 10+ story residential and hotel towers at FCCs development on the other side of Liberty. This area is going to feel very different in the near future and hopefully will have a much more stable 24/7 crowd  instead of the current weekend daytime market crowd only.
