Posted September 1, 200717 yr …from last weekend: …for once this festival was not rained-out Folkloric dancing with some audience participation…. Lebanese wine and beer …not everyone was Lebanese:
September 1, 200717 yr I trust you came home stuffed to the gills, eh? Thanks for bringing the festival to us!

September 3, 200717 yr ^ I did say this was more of a parish festival. And why dont you post pix of these Toledo ethnic festivals, particularly the large Syrian/Lebanese one you mentioned? I'd like to see pix of their Latino fest too.
September 3, 200717 yr ^Toledo has 20 or 30 festivals like this (and all the largest Lebanese and Syrian fests in the state). Dayton's fest is basically a backyard barbeque in West Toledo. I've gone to high school graduation parties with my Lebanese cousins in Sylvania bigger than this. Hook, line and sinker... I knew our favorite forumer would take the bait.
September 4, 200717 yr Not only are the Lebanese festivals in Toledo the largest in Ohio, but they are also the most liberal, with tons of random hooking up! Be careful not to get sprayed with STD's!
September 4, 200717 yr Hook, line and sinker... I saw you setting that one up, and sat here counting down; three ... two ... one ... Bingo! Appalling predictability!
September 4, 200717 yr Not only are the Lebanese festivals in Toledo the largest in Ohio, but they are also the most liberal, with tons of random hooking up! Be careful not to get sprayed with STD's! Something quite similar to a Tuesday night in Athens (aka the most urban setting in Ohio).
September 4, 200717 yr I didn't realize they had backyards in Toledo to begin with. "You don't just walk into a bar and mix it up by calling a girl fat" - buildingcincinnati speaking about new forumers
September 5, 200717 yr I didn't realize they had backyards in Toledo to begin with. They do. You just don't notice them because of the old pickup trucks and campers sitting on cinder blocks.
