September 7, 20186 yr A progress photo. Never posted a photo before so I hope this works. Shot this past Wednesday, 9/5. BEAUTIFUL
September 13, 20186 yr And not a crisp shot (for some reason, my husband won't come to a complete stop on I-480/Valley View Bridge??), but gives an idea of the spot the Beacon is filling in: clevelandskyscrapers.com Cleveland Skyscrapers on Instagram
September 19, 20186 yr I love how The Beacon adds to the view as you look out from the Global Center in this photo from Bob Perkoski at Freshwater.
September 23, 20186 yr Please pardon the reflections, but here are a couple of pics I took from the Hilton yesterday:
September 24, 20186 yr 9/23 Are people really getting excited because about a half-inch of a crane is visible on the tv? I know it's great to have a new building going up in downtown, but that might be taking it too far, lol.
September 24, 20186 yr cg[/member] I don't see any image? PoshSteve[/member] you beat me to the punch - I was in the same spot Saturday. :) clevelandskyscrapers.com Cleveland Skyscrapers on Instagram

September 30, 20186 yr Photo from West Schaaf Road - Beacon is dead center and for reference, the Lumen (Playhouse Square apartment tower) will fill the gap between the Keith Building and the ArcelorMittal building on the far right. clevelandskyscrapers.com Cleveland Skyscrapers on Instagram
October 1, 20186 yr I had to copy Firenze98[/member]'s nighttime shot with a daytime shot, plus a couple of others all set against a deep-blue late-September sky.... "In the souls of the people the grapes of wrath are filling and growing heavy, growing heavy for the vintage." -- John Steinbeck
October 1, 20186 yr This tower is looking good!!! I can't wait to see some of the windows start to go in.
October 2, 20186 yr I don't remember seeing this posted yet. And opening in November? Which ground-floor space are they taking? Asian Restaurant Planning First Expansion In Cleveland The Balance Pan-Asian Grille will open its first non-Toledo location at the developing Beacon complex on Euclid Avenue. https://patch.com/ohio/cleveland/asian-restaurant-planning-first-expansion-cleveland "In the souls of the people the grapes of wrath are filling and growing heavy, growing heavy for the vintage." -- John Steinbeck
October 2, 20186 yr I went to the soft opening last week. There’s next to Heck’s Express and they’re phenomenal
October 3, 20186 yr This tower is looking good!!! I can't wait to see some of the windows start to go in. And just like that ... there are windows going in!!!
October 3, 20186 yr I was going to say "they hear us" but this site was down so maybe not. "In the souls of the people the grapes of wrath are filling and growing heavy, growing heavy for the vintage." -- John Steinbeck
October 5, 20186 yr I had to copy Firenze98[/member]'s nighttime shot with a daytime shot, plus a couple of others all set against a deep-blue late-September sky.... Nice full frontal looking up (first pick). Was wondering if anyone would do that when topped off with this building. :)
October 5, 20186 yr Was joking but the height and presence with the skyline surpassed my expectations for this project. Pleasantly surprise a little. Someone posted wondering why this project is getting so much attention in here. For one we waited over a decade to get this completed and feel people like how it makes more of a presence than they expected. Edit It adds to the Skyline. It will become an addition.
October 14, 20186 yr I was photographing a wedding yesterday, and the bride was getting ready on the 30th floor of the Hilton. Took a moment to snag some shots of 515.
October 15, 20186 yr I like the density of buildings in the second picture. "In the souls of the people the grapes of wrath are filling and growing heavy, growing heavy for the vintage." -- John Steinbeck
October 15, 20186 yr Cross posted in the Lumen "In the souls of the people the grapes of wrath are filling and growing heavy, growing heavy for the vintage." -- John Steinbeck

October 17, 20186 yr Driving home on the 490 bridge today I realized what an impact this made on the volume of the skyline. Absolutely unreal the amount of gaps this building fills in from about 4-5 different perspectives
October 17, 20186 yr 8 hours ago, ASPhotoman said: That parking lot you're standing in is really the last eyesore parking lot left on Euclid. Isn't that the one next to CVS?
October 17, 20186 yr Yes. That's the crime of Judge Alvin Krenzler. "In the souls of the people the grapes of wrath are filling and growing heavy, growing heavy for the vintage." -- John Steinbeck
October 17, 20186 yr I like how the building looks from Lakeside close to the mall. It adds to the feel of urbanity, if that makes sense. Time for some new pics...
October 17, 20186 yr I really like the building being yellow; it both stands out and blends in. Maybe the planned colors, which seem a little trendy, will work as well; but I doubt it. Remember: It's the Year of the Snake
October 17, 20186 yr @Dougal I hear ya, but I don't think yellow ages well. Just think of what we would say to the architects of the Justice Center, the 9, and the Celebreeze Federal Building if we could transport ourselves back. They Keith Building, the Key Tower, Terminal Tower, 200 Public Square, One Cleveland... While each building may not be a personal favorite, there is a reason they are still aesthetically pleasing 20, 30, 40, 50+ years after construction. Edited October 17, 20186 yr by YABO713

October 23, 20186 yr Nice shot! Looks like it took a bit of a beating from that nasty windstorm on Saturday night. "In the souls of the people the grapes of wrath are filling and growing heavy, growing heavy for the vintage." -- John Steinbeck
October 23, 20186 yr This tower is looking good!!! What is the "cladding" (covering up the yellow) going to be made of??
October 24, 20186 yr quoting from wikipedia which is the most 'reliable' source material. "The Beacon will feature a facade interlocked with colored interchanging metal panels that will reflect the sun and be brightly illuminated with exterior lighting at night.[5] The pinnacle will feature a multistory Beacon masthead that can be seen for miles in either direction."
October 24, 20186 yr The photographer managed to get the Lumen crane in the shot, too. "In the souls of the people the grapes of wrath are filling and growing heavy, growing heavy for the vintage." -- John Steinbeck
October 24, 20186 yr I’m with Mack-that’s a great shot, especially catching The Lumen crane in background.

October 30, 20186 yr Two Beacon photos from the summer of the last girders being lowered into place. The last photo is from yesterday.
November 1, 20186 yr It’s gonna be interesting to see the final facade with those interchanging metal panels start to appear - anyone know the timeline for that?
November 1, 20186 yr 2 Blocks on Euclid will be closed off for a week to take down the crane (between E.4th and E.6th) via Cleveland.com :(
