September 23, 200717 yr Great event; I love the stickers on the pickup truck! That plaza is such a wonderful public space, and when I've visited Dayton it seems there's often something going on, or just people hanging out.
September 24, 200717 yr It's cool that Dayton has all these events and festivals, however attendence for this one looked fairly pathetic.
September 24, 200717 yr Well, sorry it isn't a Jena 6-sized rally for Courthouse Square. Regardless of the size, I'm also glad that downtown is having all sorts of these events. "You don't just walk into a bar and mix it up by calling a girl fat" - buildingcincinnati speaking about new forumers
September 24, 200717 yr Looks like more people prefer to save the arcade than achieve world peace. To be serious, it looks like a fun event. ...I'm also glad that downtown is having all sorts of these events. Yep. There is something to be said about the progressiveness of some of these events too. Hamilton has a gospel music festival and an abortion rally. Dayton has a Lebanese festival and a gay pride event. (of course, maybe Jeff doesn't attend Dayton's conservative events)
