Posted October 2, 200717 yr Wooster was a pleasant surprise. It was a lunch stop on the way through Northeast Ohio. We ate at a Greek restaurant and walked the downtown for about 30 minutes.

October 3, 200717 yr Wowzers...that first building is a beauty! Umm...that is the Wayne County Courthouse. Don't let the fact that it is built into the block throw you off (I love this). Great stuff.
October 3, 200717 yr Being a Wooster native who hasn't seen Wooster in like a month, you have no idea how good it feels to see the town again. :-) PS - I hope Matsos' was good. Next time you pass through, if it's early enough, try the Parlor.
October 3, 200717 yr Ah yes, Matos was the name of it. That is what happens when you take the photos in the summer but don't post them till the fall. Yes, their food was good.
October 4, 200717 yr Wooster is a pretty town. I'm surprised Evergrey hasn't chimed in with his thoughts on Wooster.
October 4, 200717 yr Wooster is a pretty town. I'm surprised Evergrey hasn't chimed in with his thoughts on Wooster. I'm sure they would be positive from him. He lived there for a while and posted a great photo thread, which no longer works, unfortunately.
October 5, 200717 yr Ahh, Wooster... I love their downtown. They by far have one to the best small town downtowns in NEO.
October 6, 200717 yr Is there still a Rubbermaid presence? I saw a documentary about how Wal-Mart killed Wooster and ran Rubbermaid into the ground a couple of years ago.
October 6, 200717 yr I was under the impression the plant was completely closed. The downtown store stayed open even after the plant died,.however; you can see it in your 6th photo down.
