November 30, 20213 yr That view of the SW site in NEOtrans is another reminder of just how transformative this project will be for downtown Cleveland. It’s obviously going to be very exciting and satisfying watching the HQ rise over the next two years, both via the pics from URban Ohio (no pressure), hopefully a webcam and, of course, from all the various vantage points in town. This is a scene that will only get cooler and cooler month by month as it gets higher and closer to the great day it opens for business. I think despite any mixed feelings about certain design elements, we’re all going to find ourselves pretty delighted as the city adds this skyscraper to the former parking lot district. Just the cranes on this baby and City Club - are gonna be a dynamic look for the city.

One of the presenters mentioned there were utilities planned behind the blank walls around the pavilion and tower base because neither building will have a basement. A project of this scale not having any below grade space for mechanical or storage or anything just seemed strange to me. An odd place to cut cost.
