I like how the  Euclid corridor frames the building perfectly with an unobstructed view.

We had a little office banter going on today, and nobody quite knew the answer. I tried digging through old UO posts but couldn't find anything here, though I'm sure its been discussed. As the new tower doesn't have a large basement to speak of to accommodate heating production elements, will they be using Cleveland Thermal for heating? Or does Jack Morikis plan on going in Jimmy Carter style with a space heater and a big coat?

Pics don’t do this view justice. It’s my favorite so far. The big 4 seem more tightly grouped and the new kid will be in the spotlight.

That's actually my favorite view of downtown by far. The buildings look squeezed in, dense even and old school at that. Plus it's the only place where you can sorta look down on the skyline and river rather than looking up at it. In every other angle you are either looking up or at best even with the buildings.

Not going to happen but wouldn't it be cool if people had access to a viewing platform on that bridge looking at the lake on one side and another one opposite looking at downtown? I think that would get alot of foot traffic.

She’s gonna look so dang good in that 3rd photos spot!

Really digging how SW is closing the gap on Public Square. Already feels like a more intimate space.

You don't need a webcam with how often you all take/share photos

THANK YOU!
Down with the robots! 👎🏽

I think we’re approaching 48 hours with no new pics - a record!-  I’m expecting it will really have grown by the next image. Lol!

I want to get another progress update done next week, so I better have some updated pics by then. ;)

Plus a webcam only gives you one view, and that just wouldn't be good enough.  I like seeing the building from all the different angles, so thanks to everyone that is posting photos!!!

Here, you sick FIENDS! From about an hour ago. Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

True…I’m getting a little jittery for an East side shot…

We should have this thread up to about 500 pages by the time is it completed.

I’m with you, @Silent Matt.
Specifically, an east elevation shot looking west down Euclid Avenue.

I took a picture like that, albeit when the building was slightly shorter.

@Ethan! Bonus points x100 for getting it at sunset!

@ASPhotoman ! I love the new touches with the steel frame and floor numbers added in!

Ah, thank the photo dealers we got our fix in for the night!

still got plenty of height left I love it!

Looks like it will fill the gap in the skyline from many vantage points.

Plenty!!  The steel is only about 25% of the way up - this thing ‘s gonna be pretty commanding in our skyline.

It really is so impressive to see. Its presence is making a big difference!

I just realized this is the first office building constructed on Superior Avenue, Downtown (I believe the first building tower constructed in general) in 40 years. Wow.

Correction: 32 years and by the time it’s finished, 33 years. Still a hell of a long time.

5/3 center went up in the 90s

5/3 center went up in the 90s

32 years then. A building drought that long still is astronomical.

I don't know if it's just me or my terrible ability at perceiving size/volume/space, but is it just me or does the elevator/stairwell core take up a large portion of the total area space on the higher floors? It just doesn't seem like there will be much floor space. I might just be looking/thinking about this wrong lol.

The closest thing we have to a Construction Cam is the daily live shot from Lakewood. You can zoom in.

Visit: EarthCam - Cleveland Cam

Unfortunately the internet and elevators are shut off in Rockefeller at the moment, so no ability to do a webcam
