September 12, 20231 yr Gloomy day earlier today but the weekend might have a repeat Good time or III [emoji6]My favorite pictures of this building are during gloomy days tbh. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
September 13, 20231 yr We are going to love this when it's done. Can't wait to see it lit up at night. Thank you Sherwin Williams!
September 13, 20231 yr When Superior angles a bit away from downtown (think I90 overpass) it really pops, by the time I got my phone out it was a little too late
September 15, 20231 yr @MayDayI think I noticed your footprints embedded into the concrete from up here!
September 16, 20231 yr I feel like they’re going to need to do one last crane jump by next week. The core is about to overtake it.
September 16, 20231 yr Quick count, looks like they have maybe 2 more floors to go on the core tower.

September 17, 20231 yr Two very different perspectives from yesterday - Camp Cleveland and leaving Tower City westbound on the Red Line.

There should be a very interesting interplay between SW and The Hilton created by their opposing angles of the tops of the buildings and the vertical lighting down the sides of each. Awesome photo @Mogradal!
September 17, 20231 yr I wish the national media would show that shot every now and then! Plenty of room for a couple future skyscrapers to the west too…. Edited September 17, 20231 yr by CleveFan
September 17, 20231 yr ^ Agree. Cleveland from the lake looks like a different place altogether! @MayDay’s photo
September 17, 20231 yr Agreed. Those angles are just beautiful. I gotta bring some cigars and whiskey and sit on those steps along the lake before it gets too cold.
September 18, 20231 yr ^^ That's a great photo but I cant tell you how much I want to erase the Justice Ctr and put a completed SW in the background. Ahh maybe one day...
September 18, 20231 yr This screen grab from the latest SW promo video of their new tower gives us one of our very first looks "out" at the city, from one of the tower's fairly high floors. It really makes you appreciate just how tall and massive each of those floors really is. The new skyscraper should really be a huge inducement to bright, young talent considering coming to work in Cleveland for Sherwin-Williams. Love those windows! September 19, 20231 yr Northeast Ohio is NOT prepared for the glorious light show this building will shower upon our fine metropolis. I only captured a glimpse
September 19, 20231 yr Author With this latest and last crane jump, I can easily see it from my Lakewood condo. I've lived here for 27 years and this is the first time that I recall seeing a downtown construction crane from my fifth-floor home. I could see the one for Intro in Ohio City, however. The other cranes (Stokes Courthouse, Flats East Bank, Hilton, etc.) were blocked by trees. In fact, when I first moved in here, I couldn't even see downtown as a big tree was in the way. No I didn't cut it down... 🕵️♂️ "In the souls of the people the grapes of wrath are filling and growing heavy, growing heavy for the vintage." -- John Steinbeck
September 19, 20231 yr Actually had my phone out in time this morning: And it's not *as* visible in this photo but with the naked eye, it's a pretty obvious addition to the skyline: And Edgewater on Sunday: Also @Pleco great variety of shots and angles! Edited September 19, 20231 yr by GISguy
September 19, 20231 yr Using some generative AI, I did a little touch up on a detail that’s a pet peeve for a few folks 😉 clevelandskyscrapers.com Cleveland Skyscrapers on Instagram
September 19, 20231 yr @MayDay, Not sure what "generative AI" means but it seems like it made subtle changes to the Soldiers' & Sailors' monument to reflect that the South won and added another floor to the "shack." 😇 Sorry just being silly, but always have been impressed with the quality of your photos whether assisted by artificial means or while sober! September 19, 20231 yr Someone mentioned it earlier this year, in this thread, but I think the SWHQ Tower Crane is the third tallest structure in Cleveland for the moment with the latest crane jump.

I have a request… Is there any chance you can create one with evening light and add the light feature up the East elevation and the lighting at the top? That will give us an idea of how this building will add energy to the square at night. Either way, thank you for the great work.
September 20, 20231 yr I caught some workers using PPG paint right across from SHW old R&D center, what the f**k?! (It's absolutely insane how underutilized the Federal Building's plaza is, one of the most beautiful spaces in the city!)

Generative AI is basically typing a design command into photoshop etc. and it generates it for you immediately. (Ex. Add an American flag to this building). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
