The edges of downtown drops off so dramatically on all sides. You can feel it when your driving around.

^ Imagine what it will look like if/when Bedrock adds several buildings in the foreground.

Today.

Some of those photos give the building a similar site vibe as Chicago's Prudential Building...

isn't it kinda crazy that you really can only see the pavilion from public square if you are sanding directly across the street from it

Looks like they are about done with that core, unless it goes past the top of level 36.

I'm no expert and I'm sure it will spark a huge debate, but I think they go up an extra floor or two for the elevators' machinery and/or roof access.  Any elevator people?

They should have two floors left to pour.

The building is actually 39 stories tall if you include the mechanicals/utilities floors.

A view from Salem? Nice zoom lens, @MayDay

I tried to be more artsy and less fartsy with these photos. I really am so excited to see this once it is finished.

@Pleco  Add all the photos you want!  You find a lot of interesting angles of the city that we haven't seen represented on here before.  I appreciate it!

And that's saying something as this...wait for it...is the most photographed building in this forum's history!

Nice job @Pleco. Love the contextual pics. We tend to photograph only the building, not the skyscraper in its natural habitat!

Looks to me that they have one floor of the core left to pour... :) I'll have an updated progress graphic for everyone tomorrow.

A much-needed dose of modern architecture in downtown.

Ive been following the construction on here.  Its amazing!  Ill be in CLE next month to see first hand.  Keep these pix coming please

That "birdstrike" had me a bit distressed, so I went looking.  Seems it's been there from very early on, perhaps even from the install.  Earlier pics are a bit inconclusive, but somehow we've all been missing this for awhile.  Sure hope it was human error and not the first of many strikes!

The view up Euclid from CSU the other day almost took my breath away - the building's imposing size and angled stance plugs the emptiness that was above Public Square from that viewpoint in an impressive way.

Must have been an unusual departure for CLE?   Departed 6 then turn back out over the Chardon VOR?

Might've been the flight I once had, CLE to LAX via PHI.  smh

a 5-minute PhotoShop contribution.

Anyone have news on the demo of that parking garage behind the Rockefeller building?

Looks tall enough. Might as well stop there.

Noooo!

I was wondering if we could bribe the concrete workers to keep pouring a couple extra floors! 616 feet just ain't enuff!

It's insane to think this thing will be topped out in around a month!

I think this is the last core floor.

Correct. I have the entire core depicted in the progress image I posted above.

Nice pic, @marty15-There’s a view that for some reason you hardly ever see - I love the prominence of the Ohio Bell Building -( I hope someday it’s crown is properly adorned)- and The 9 -but sorry to go off the main point -

The SW Tower already adds so much to our skyline - just wait till it’s finished!

It's similar to the view coming into downtown from I-77 North - one of my favorites especially when Key, 200 PS, and AT&T line up and the facades 'cascade' into each other. Not that view, but here are some from today.
