Lol, not quite. I roll over this bridge most days, so took advantage of the pull over lane and low traffic at the time. You'll have to expound on what your comment means, lol, but seems to have something to do with the train coming off the bridge into the rail yard in the distance.

Sherwin-Williams to move Valspar to Greater Cleveland By Ken Prendergast / December 1, 2023 Within the next few years, Sherwin-Williams reportedly intends to relocate most, if not all of Valspar’s headquarters and research jobs, or up to 700 employees, from Minneapolis to Greater Cleveland, according to a highly placed source. Global coatings giant Sherwin-Williams acquired its former rival in 2017 for $11 billion, setting off a remarkable growth trajectory for both companies. That is resulting in the construction of a Downtown Cleveland office skyscraper, the gobbling up of more existing office space downtown, a new suburban research center and the start of planning for significant additional downtown office space. MORE: https://neo-trans.blog/2023/12/01/sherwin-williams-to-move-valspar-to-greater-cleveland/ @KJPone of the things that stood out to me in your blog was this statement: “According to the highly placed source, Sherwin-Williams executives view Greater Cleveland as a growth market for the next two to three decades and are making a bet on that.” With SW actively petitioning companies who they have joint ventures with to at least open a satellite location here is very telling as well. It seems that SW believes that Cleveland will grow substantially above the curve within the next 20 years. Hopefully that translates to not only an economic boom but a massive skyline transformation.
December 18, 20231 yr @dski44it's a refreshing site to see the new against the old. Hopefully phase 2 comes along sooner rather than later so we can keep up the momentum of modernizing the skyline.

January 3, 20241 yr Wow they're really catching up to the top with glass! Crazy how no of the top structure has been added since my last update. I've been dying to do another!

Purely speculating here, but the remaining structure that forms the slanted areas on top of the tower might be something other than the structural steel that has been used up to now. If those aren’t occupied floors above what is there now, it could be a lighter structural frame only there to support the decorative glass facade.

And they may be waiting to get to that after they pour the slabs for the top most level. They may even want to set large roof top equipment before installing what is essentially a screen wall on those slants.

January 5, 20241 yr I work in Key Tower and my office overlooks the project, and let me emphasize that overall I reallllllly like the project. I think the tower design is awesome and I'm thrilled that we'll have such a mass of people on the Square. However, I bike in most days, and the only piece I lament is the project's interaction with the Square at street level due to the setback.

January 5, 20241 yr I hope @KJP is right and a Phase 2 is coming sooner rather than later. The base of the building on the west side looks uninspiring and just plain unfinished.

The beige facade of the base and the silver trim around the windows date the look of the building when looking at it up close. From afar the building looks fabulous.

January 6, 20241 yr Walking by this week, I was a little disappointed that the way the pavilion is integrated on the square it seemingly blocks off the new Fahrenheit from view. Unless you are essentially standing on the north side of the sidewalk near the Old Stone Church or on Frankfort, you probably wouldn't even know it was there. I know it isn't SHW's concern, but a different footprint could have opened up the restaurant to really be a part of the Square, which would have been nice.
