February 9, 20232 yr Some nighttime views! The street presence is already incredible, and overall is making such a big impact and improvement to better connect the Warehouse District with the rest of Downtown. So much fun to watch!!
February 9, 20232 yr Great pics @urbanetics_ and thanks to everyone contributing so many great views - much appreciated for the hardcore (like me) that check for progress everyday! Getting a definite big city vibe around the square already. Feelin' a little extra hometown pride with this project making downtown look better than ever! For those of us that have waited a few decades for this baby - this is a whole lot of fun... and best of all it'll just keep getting more dramatic in the weeks and months to come. February 10, 20232 yr EDIT: Sorry @freethink! Missed your post from above! This will be a cool viewpoint as the tower climbs — from Louis Stokes branch 10th floor (source: https://twitter.com/pokotraveler/status/1623292640363003905?s=46&t=N9FfYBpCDMdIGd7dKvIG9g) Edited February 10, 20232 yr by MuRrAy HiLL

February 12, 20232 yr Was in Terminal Tower this week and got a nice shot. So much bigger in real life.
February 12, 20232 yr Author I'm still surprised that there's only one tower crane working the HQ tower. And it looks like it's going to need to jump again soon. "In the souls of the people the grapes of wrath are filling and growing heavy, growing heavy for the vintage." -- John Steinbeck
February 12, 20232 yr ^^Viewing this pic it leads me to wonder again if part of the reason SHW is dragging its feet selling the West 6th and St Clair parcels for development (probably some of the most valuable development land in Cleveland at this time) is that it makes life easier for them in terms of construction staging and construction worker parking. Obviously just a luxury and not a necessity or nothing would ever get built in Manhattan. Edited February 12, 20232 yr by Htsguy
February 12, 20232 yr I actually know the answer to this. You are correct; Welty is keeping all of the land to use for construction staging for the tower and garage. Edited February 12, 20232 yr by PaxtonMarley

I have to keep this in prospective. I flew into DCA yesterday, and there had to be more tower cranes at work in DC and Arlington than in the entire state of Ohio...but then those projects are mostly 8-11 stories in height.

That should not prevent planning for the development of those parcels so construction can begin once SHW is completed. Edited February 12, 20232 yr by LibertyBlvd

February 14, 20232 yr How has this winter's mostly stellar work impacted construction? Surely it's helped get things slightly ahead of schedule.
February 14, 20232 yr Is that a piece from a tower crane in the second picture, right side? It looks like it's set below grade.

Sure is… not sure if it’s to jump the HQ tower crane or to build out the parking garage. clevelandskyscrapers.com Cleveland Skyscrapers on Instagram
