Other than the courthouse.

As we can see from @Blimp City’s photo, they jumped the sh!t outta that crane! I’m guessing they added 100 feet?

Quick photo from yesterday's drive across the Main Ave Bridcge.   With the wife at the wheel I managed to capture a seagull overseeing the work! 😃

No pic but crane now visible from Cedar Hill the Cle Hts.

I don't know what l like better. Seeing all the people enjoying the Festival, the sunny day or the background with SHW beginning to poke its nose into the scene?

Whichever, it's all good.

Typical tower crane sections are 20’ tall and eyeballing it, looks like they added maybe eight new sections so about 150 feet or more. And the good news is we still have a ways and more jumps to go.

I think they added 6.  still a significant jump!!

Nice pic from Edgewater…

Today’s update - work/drilling is actively happening now on the Pavilion site, and the tower itself already seems massive and totally changes the feel of this area!! Actually feels more like a city already instead of a barren wasteland😅

Funny how the elevator core here and City Club have been following each other rise. Both seem to be working on floor 13.

Took this pic of One Kansas City place when I was there a couple years ago. Tallest building in Missouri at 623ft. So a perfect perspective on height

I lived in KC for a little of a year back in 2014/2015 and remember their downtown area have lots of trees/shrubs (ones that were alive too!) Let's hope the trees/shrubs that get planted around SW HQ are maintained and don't turn into depressing apocalyptic trees.

These are awesome shots. I see the garage tower crane base is set. It’ll be great to see three cranes downtown!

What an incredible impact this will have. I also can't believe we allowed a parking lot THAT BIG to last for decades. Seeing those photos now my eyes go to the other two large ones nearby ... lets hope they are filled as well.

Look at how the SHW tower is already dominating the end of Euclid. The 30-year void is now officially gone.

That’s the definition of transformative.

Looks as if the construction has already begun on the visitor center directly in front of the 55 building!  That last pic above, looking down Euclid, is quite impressive!!

Today. 7th and 8th floors of steel begin.

Is plastic being hung on the perimeter because concrete is being poured?

I’ll do another tower update next week that shows the status of construction compared to the final design. I feel like at the rate they are going, every 2-3 weeks should be perfect.

Great photo, KJP!

The anticipation of the finished tower from this vantage and the impact this view will have on those traveling west on Euclid Avenue had to be one of the major reasons Picard Chilton was so adamant about NOT putting the tower on the former Jacobs lot. It might also be one reason they wanted to keep the Pavilion short. This will emphasize the openness of Public Square creating the finished look and feel of an outdoor living room. The tower then becomes the exclamation point at the end of Cleveland’s grandest avenue and the western wall of this space Just imagine a visitor walking down Euclid, transfixed on the massive tower in front of them only to be wowed by this beautiful public space with the grand architecture of the past reflected in the glass of the new hotshot kid on the block.

Seems like a well thought out plan to me.

The vertical lighting of the tower will cut right up the middle of this pic.

I’m so glad they added lighting to the top of the building - that should be really cool. (Rendering from NEOtrans article)

Good pic.

One of my least favorite angles of the skyline tho…would definitely benefit if the Bedrock towers come into play along with a finished SW tower.

Do we have a rendering to confirm this from this location?

Based on @KJP's photo above showing the building's central cement core and imagining an overlay of the rendering posted by @CleveFan, I would guess the vertical lighting will be visible, but skewed a bit to the right side from this viewpoint.   Close enough.  Cheers!

A few taken today… including a pic showing the World Class Signage taken last night 😄
