great series. top of the rock>esb for views right?

here's a good story: my next door neighbor (from clev & then medina) has worked in this section of central park for 25yrs.

he always has to clean all this junk up. people pour cremated ashes on it a lot too.

Top of the Rock > WAY WAY WAY >>>> ESB at night.

And it was for family so it would've been just a tease if I told you I was coming ;).

awww man.

nice work as always tho. yeah you said it about top of the rock.

folks if you only do one of these, skip the awful empire state building lines and experience (although it is cool when you finally get up there) and instead hit newly reopened top of the rock. they have timed tix so there is no real line and you get much better city views, best of all including the esb of course.

Iconic places. Chrysler Building is my favorite scraper anywhere.

Those pics brought back a lot of fond memories of my good friend, Greg, now gone 14 years. We had a lot of good times there just walking around and taking it all in when I visited him.

I love NY!

2.5 more months and it's bye bye Cleveland, hello Manhattan.

WOW!!!

Chris, how much time would you guess you spent photographing on this trip?

Mind blowing city.

I <3 NY & your photos.

WOW!!!

Actually, not long.  I was actually just enjoying the sights moreso than just photography.  If I saw "something cool," I just whipped out the camera for a couple of seconds.

Jealous.

Nice pics of Park Ave South, Rock Center (gosh I really miss working in that area), Upper Westside, Times Square and Central park
