Daughter is looking at a one-bedroom condo at Winton Place.  Anyone have any pros and cons?

Isn't that a pretty nice place? I know some doctors who live there.

From what I gather, it's one of the better buildings in the Gold Coast and neighborhood-wise, it's great. I would imagine you'd want to find out what the maintenance/association fees are (I've heard they're higher than others but they probably provide more amenities), as well as making sure she understands that Lakewood's taxes are higher than other western 'burbs. If I was on my own, I'd consider living there.

 

High maintenance fees, otherwise its a great place.

Lakewood also has some of the highest property taxes in the area. ...compare that with a new Cleveland condo where you don't pay any property tax for 15 years.
