The Reggae Fest was this past labor Day weekend (on Dave Hall Plaza), and one of the two afterpartys was at J-Alans,  the  relatively new downtown “bartender-owned bar” across the street from the Schuster Center stage door.

Two bands playing  (on from Lexington, KY) but they melded together into a jam session at the end.

 

 

 

 

 

Always a cool crowd here.  In its short time in business this place has developed a good following.  They book live music on most nights now, and host a blues jam on Tuesday.
