Posted May 11, 200520 yr I was curious if anyone has seen any further information regarding this proposed (?) residential tower in the Warehouse District. Seeing MayDay's latest Pinnacle photographs (the documentation is much appreciated) reignited my curiosity about the project. I beleive the site in question is seen in the second of MayDay's lateest photographs, the one with the Bekins moving truck in it. It'd be great to see new construction occur there to hide the blank brick walls on the back of Marshall Place and the side of the Pinnacle garage. I'll see if I can find anything on the web other than the listing on Skyscrapers.com, but was curious if anyone had any new info regarding the project.
May 11, 200520 yr Not sure what you mean. The only thing I've heard, recently, on W. 9th is the huge District Park condo project that most are now saying is dead. Hope you're on to something CtownD and not talking about Dist Park.
May 11, 200520 yr No, the site is acutally directly across W. 9th from the District Park site. It is listed under 'proposed' on Skyscrapers.com, and the page mentions that it has received approval from the Cleveland Landmarks Commission. The building is listed as being designed by GSI architects. I'm not sure if this is just some advanced concept of what could eventually go up on the site, or if there are developers with some sort of timetable. I'm hoping that this one will make it off the ground, might help to get some momentum moving on the street that might convince Marous to rethink delaying District Park.
May 11, 200520 yr Last I had heard was that they had to wait till the construction staging for the Pinnacle was off of their lot. That was a while ago.
May 12, 200520 yr Totally agree with you about hiding those brick walls (behind marshal place and the side of the pinnacle garage) with some new construction. May 12, 200520 yr looking forward to an update! unfortunately, if they're waiting for Pinnacle construction to get off their lot, it could be a while!
