Pretty nice! There are some excellent vintage facades still intact and eminently restorable.

Saturday mornings are usually active in small rural towns. Farm folks, after they retire, don't use their new-found freedom for sleeping in. They're accustomed to getting an early start on the day, and freed of the job of milking cows and feeding hogs, they head for the mom-and-pop restaurants for a leisurely breakfast, a couple of refills on their coffee, and socializing with their peers. It's a comfortable tradition.

What!? A visit to Jackson and no photos of the intact, wide brick street? :)

Great shots. Their apple festival is really nice.

very sharp looking burg. i like that fancypants knights of phythias building.

Pretty.  That blue building is particularly interesting.

Jackson, MI is better

^Downtown-wise, certainly.  Jackson, MI has some fantastic "skyscrapers" and a well-kept, large downtown.  Residentially, Jackson, OH beats the MI counterpart.

much better than Jackson, MI

8am on a saturday morning? Aren't you in college? shouldn't you still be up drinking and munching on some IHOP?

either way, nice work.
