…we pick up on Madison Avenue with the New apartments built with the development association and North General Hospital.

The Madison Avenue side of the building looks nice…

….But a joke from the back, as that is where all the parking is.  The building only takes up about 40% of the lot.  These pics were taken from the Train so they appear out of focus.

Pictures of the Madison Avenue side of the park, notice the preserved rocks.  The Mount Morris rock formation is the last remaining outcropping of a 90-acre wedge of hard bedrock that ran between Lexington and Fifth Avenues south of the Harlem River.

Construction of Fifth on the Park.  (www.fifthonthepark) When complete, at 28 stories,  this will be the tallest apartment building on the Park.  It will partially block the sun out of my apartment, which I'm not happy about.  The base of the building is supposedly going to be a church, as if we need another one.

Looking south down Fifth Avenue from 120 Street.  So do you still think the AmeriTrust tower is that ugly?

My favorite Town House

This was the first building I looked at when I was house hunting.  It needed way to much work as the foundation adjacent to the building to the west was all but gone.  I'm glad someone was able to restore her.
