Batavia is a nice little town with some great old buildings downtown, but it is quickly being surrounded with Cincinnati sprawl.

I have never been there, but it looks like a pleasant enough place... although I think that I see several "For Rent" signs and vacant storefronts in these photos...

Great shots!

Ugh.

That bail bonds sign is priceless!

Great shots.

very cool. i like how it keeps its low-rise and is solidly filled in all the way along the main drag. nice variety and it all looks occupied.

i esp like the last shot building. its stunning, it looks victorian or like cowboys should be tying up horses in front of it. and is that a zinc roof? nice.

I dig it.
