thanks for the links dave. the ogrefest has a helluva great selection of barleywines. wow. but go easy on them -- those suckers will bury you.

the ohio beer guide site is a nice jumpoff, but it seems like they could use a lot more additions to the state craft beer bar map. maybe people could email them with some other beer pubs?

For you West-siders tonight at Buckeye Beer Engine is a Bell's Brewing tour.  Here's the info:

BELL'S BREWING PROMOTION 2.13.2008 DRAFT EXP. STOUT BLENDED W/ DOUBLE CREAM BARREL AGED

CASKS: TWO HEARTED ALE, PORTER, DOUBLE CREAM STOUT

DRAFT: CONSECRATOR DOPPLEBOCK, AMBER, HOPLSLAM, BELLS LAGER, TWO HEARTED ALE, JAVA STOUT, EXPEDITION STOUT

Join us Wednesday, February 13th as we feature treats from Bell's Brewing, MI. We will have at least two cask conditioned ales pouring as well as other Bell's drafts. Open to the public, tickets NOT needed.

So, for the sake of Ohio beer interest, will some kind sole in Cleveland drop into 3740 Prospect Avenue on the way home from work some day and see what the deal is with Moulton?  Are they really pulling the plug?

At dilly deli (Mariemont Ohio, a minor outlying suburb of Cincinnati) the brewmaster from great lakes will be there for a tasting with some brewery only specials
