The New Bank of America New York Headquarters

When complete it will be 52 Stories.  The Bank of America Tower is be constructed largely of recycled and recyclable building materials, has an onsite power plant, and will capture and reuse all rain and wastewater and the planted roofs will reduce the urban heat island effect.

These windows blew out about Six weeks ago and a crane collapsed the same day.  If I have to be evacuated one more time from my office, one more time, I'm going to be a very unpleasant camper! :whip: :whip:  Everyday there is speculation that the building will collapse!  On a lighter note, the building will be the greenest building in NYC when complete in mid 2008.

Sorry for the quality, some picture were taken from inside the building so I was getting glare from the window or objects behind me

All the city needs is some snow and it'll be perfect for this time of year.

bryant park is a true gem.  the surrounding buildings play a huge part in it, which is often overlooked by others across the country trying to recreate its success.

Bryant is my favorite Manhattan park.

i hope your work shots inspire mts to do the same, but i am not holding my breadth

very nice job. the boa building is really coming along, i always look way up the block at it going up when i cross sixth ave.

i saw something on curbed about the odd looking library reno, i guess it's going to be wrapped up for awhile:

"The purpose of this tasteful wrap-job is to keep brittle bits of marble from falling off the facade. It's part of a $15 Million dollar facelift which will be completed by the Library's 100th birthday in 2011."

ps- coldayman i like bryant, how can you not?, but my fav park is madison. i like the mini-skyline there better.

it's even getting a new skinny condo tower too: http://curbed.com/archives/2007/12/04/rem_koolhaas_tackling_new_one_madison_park_building.php

but more importantly: shake shack>wichcraft.

Good stuff! Views of New York around the holidays help put me in a festive mood.

Home sweet home!! :) Love it .. awesome. Need to get skating at The Pond.

Side note: has anyone seen "Flight of the Conchords"? Huh. Larry. Us.

Those floral cabs are quite hideous...nice stuff though for sure!

Bryant is my favorite Manhattan park.

And I thought you were a Marcus Garvey convert!  umm

The BoA building scares me, it "feels" so unsafe.
