Posted January 10, 200817 yr Here are some pictures from my trip to Baltimore. Inside the aquarium Picture of a Picture Picture of a Picture Across the Harbor All of these pictures are from Inner Harbor. I also went to Little Italy and Fells Point, but I don't have any pictures from there. I am mad at myself for not getting pictures there because they were by favorite parts of Baltimore.

January 10, 200817 yr I have never been to Baltimore... I have been wanting to go there for quite some time. Great shots!!
January 10, 200817 yr baltimore is a place where i dont think the buildings downtown are anything much to write home about, but i still like it anyway...just like columbus!
January 10, 200817 yr I think Stringer Bell's condo was in that building behind Best Buy. I think you're actually right LOL! "You don't just walk into a bar and mix it up by calling a girl fat" - buildingcincinnati speaking about new forumers
January 11, 200817 yr mrnyc- That part of Baltimore isn't anything special, but the places like Little Italy and Fells Point are very unique and have a sense of place. I even considered going to college at the University of Maryland or eventually moving there. However, I think that I would rather move to Cleveland.
January 11, 200817 yr Cool shots - I have been to Baltimore many times, and I think they did a great job with the Inner Harbor. It has become quite a tourist attraction, but I am always struck at how the energy dissipates as you move into the downtown. I think overall, it is on the upswing though. Fells Point is the place to go - I remember going there and we went to some random bar and the regular patrons kept buying us beer. It felt very home-townish, and the shear density of the neighborhood is very impressive.

Whenever, I've had to go there for work, I'm in and out. Outside of obout three areas. It looks worse then parts of euclid or hough that have decayed. It's depressing. It has become quite a tourist attraction, but I am always struck at how the energy dissipates as you move into the downtown. That my feeling as well. I think the harbor area is nice. One of our divisions produced a movie that didn't like baltimore so much, they went to Philly to shot scenes and say it was Baltimore.
January 11, 200817 yr bodymore murdaland - the wire and not even that is entirely filmed in Baltibore, unless something changed.
January 11, 200817 yr I could've swore the entire series is on-location in Baltimore. Certainly ALL the streetscape shots and such take place in Baltimore (the interior of city hall, the harbor, Sandtown, North Avenue, etc). They even substituted Baltimore as "Philadelphia" with blatant Baltimore rowhouses.
