Posted January 20, 200817 yr I was writing an article for my site about The Golden Lamb Restaurant in Lebanon,Ohio. A "now and then" kinda thing. The first pict is Circa 1936..library of congress image. The second pict I took from roughly the same spot in 2007. Amazing how little things change. Anyways if u wanna read the article here's a link http://zinzi.us/?q=node/140 Excuse my writing skills..Still a bit of a noob.

January 23, 200817 yr Great before and after shots. Nice to see that not much has changed with this historic landmark. Except for the tree!
January 23, 200817 yr Well they stopped serving their lunch menu in the main dining room on Sundays (aka now entrees are $20+ FOR LUNCH aka no more petit filet with bearnaise for $15). Screw 'em! :x clevelandskyscrapers.com Cleveland Skyscrapers on Instagram
January 23, 200817 yr I'm local. They had kind of an attitude at the Golden Lamb, the last time I tried them in the 90s. The waitress we got at our table basically told me what I'd get for desert :x like a schoolmarm. My dentist told me that he and his wife and some friends went there a few years ago and they were basically ignored for almost an hour so they got up and left. They went around the corner to the Best Cafe and had a good meal, I believe.
January 24, 200817 yr I live(d) 8 minuets away from the Golden Lamb, so I've been there many times; I've never had any trouble, but I don't get excited about the food.
January 24, 200817 yr I have eaten at the Golden Lamb three times. The restaurant has a great historic value and my daughter loves to tour the rooms upstairs but the food is only mediocre. Nice photos.
January 24, 200817 yr Thanks for comments..yeah is a kewl place. I live about 30 seconds away and still have not eaten there. I've heard Neil Armstrong's office is near it. Might see an Astronaut.. :-o
