I HATE Florida, but I do enjoy the pictures of the water.

looks like they have been building up some on the waterfront-I am struggling to figure out if that spit of land with the light house is Harbor or Davis Island.  Even though I lived there for years I am not a big Tampa fan. I do miss the water though. And the Cuban food. sigh.

I do like the skyline!

Tampa would be nice if they would fill in all those parking lots around the downtown.  It's trying to be like downtown Detroit.

That is Harbor Island, Davis is on the left. Davis has an airport at the end and Harbor has the lighthouse.

. Harbor Island has really built up! My brother in law has lived on Davis island for years. It used to be a cute little, sleepy town set right within the city which was kind of cool. It was full of little  post WWII bungalows and ranches and a little "downtown".  Then the housing boom hit and they razed so many of them...now it is too many concrete, gaudy houses.
