Posted January 27, 200817 yr I got acquainted with this city by my brother going to the university there. It's a small, compact city with a rather healthy downtown (some sprawl just a block or two of the main drag downtown), a very long Via Italia, and some very weird ugly architecture. This thread concentrates on downtown with a little bit of Via Italia and the University of Windsor. Towards Via Italia Via Italia University

January 27, 200817 yr The Tijuana of Canada. I almost spit juice all over the keyboard and monitor! Classic CDM!
January 27, 200817 yr My cuban (honduran) cigar came with a free pass to the strip club next door. Their strip clubs really are sub-par. and some very weird ugly architecture. So that's why everyone only goes there at night.
January 28, 200817 yr Thats it to downtown Windsor?? I thought it had more historic buildings, I've never been there.
January 28, 200817 yr although the buildings are ugly, when we would go in college i was always impressed by all the outdoor seating in the cafes. i remember i wished beegee had more of that.
January 28, 200817 yr Not much to look at architecturally aside from downtown and there is more, but it was nearing sunset and the lighting wasn't good with my camera. I'm jealous of the sidewalk culture there. We have that on one side of Grandview Ave while on the other is a suburban style research lab. If only they would get that moved to some sprawly section of the city so that you'd have a complete urban atmosphere.
January 31, 200817 yr My cuban (honduran) cigar came with a free pass to the strip club next door. Their strip clubs really are sub-par. Not to take away from your memories, but chances are if you buy/given/steal a cuban in windsor, its a fake.
