These look like nice neighborhoods.  I am continually impressed with Dayton.

Nice pictures!  I love those houses.

Perfect choice for a spot to photographic. Thank you so much! Northwest Dayton is really one of my favorite parts of town. I'm always shocked by how undervalued those houses are. They could sell for 4 times the amount they're currently being sold for. Imagine what they would be worth in Oakwood or Hyde Park.

I love those old european style homes!

So true, and its funny you mention that.  I was just driving through this neighborhood last weekend and was thinking about what is holding this neighborhood back from having more "prestige" associated with it.  I talked to a friend who is a police officer in District 5 and says the neighborhood is generally safe. I'm sure Chris could share some insight, but really the only things I could come up with were the media and people's perception of safety, school district (but other historic districts seem to be able to deal with that), and racial intolerance.

Nice job, Ink.

The neighborhood is the "quiet" zone of Dayton city as nothing really happens there as it isn't as close to the west side as other sections, and Salem Avenue is not really commercial around it thus no reason to stop in it.  The area south of Philadelphia Ave to about Yale is just generally safe, integrated, and quiet.  Now the schools...Lawd Jesus...
