On a clear day, you're probably not in Cleveland

To say we've been in a fog this week would be accurate, but a shadow of the whole truth. Frankly, we've been mostly in the dark all winter.  National Weather Service records show that the Cleveland area has enjoyed only one perfectly clear day since Nov. 1, 2007. That leaves the other 96 dismal days since then either cloudy or partly cloudy.

I personally like gloomy days...except for the effect it has on photos.

Its February.  The gloomiest, darkest/most overcast, coldest month of the year.  The same story runs in Cleveland, milwaukee, indi, chicago, minnapolis, Buffalo, St. Louis, Philadelphia, DC etc. every year.

 

Just another NATIONAL doom and gloom story!

 

I believe suicide rates are highest in February because of the weather influence.

Once Kenny Chesney has his life-transforming concert in a couple of months, everything, including the weather will change for the better in Cleveland.

I saw this in the PD and couldn't help thinking, gee, I wonder if it's the weather that causes "depression" or the continually negative stories that include lines like "That's a depressing seven straight gloomy days -- and still counting -- in this bleak late winter." that the PD publishes.

 

I like the weather, I love the change of seasons.  Last February was awesome when it snowed everyday.  I actually wish it would snow more.

 

Well, anyone who sees a day as either "perfect" or "dismal" is going to be an unhappy person.

Now that is horrifying.

The weather has been nice in Cincy lately despite it being February.

It could be worse. At least it's not smog.
