February 9, 200817 yr I was going to say I bet that Pizza House is pretty cool on the inside, but judging by the way they put that big exhaust fan on the front of the building, I'm not quite as hopeful. BTW, I'm feeling lazy today...where exactly is New London?
February 9, 200817 yr This building has a nice facade, and it's disappointing when they do that with arched windows. I guess it's better than plywood, though, and it indicates that the space is still being used so maybe the building is getting adequate ongoing maintenance. They haven't butchered it, so there's always the possiblity that someday the windows could be restored.
February 9, 200817 yr BTW, I'm feeling lazy today...where exactly is New London? It's also on the rail line that's proposed for passenger service linking Cleveland, Columbus, Dayton and Cincinnati. February 9, 200817 yr These northern Ohio towns are getting worse and worse in these posts. "You don't just walk into a bar and mix it up by calling a girl fat" - buildingcincinnati speaking about new forumers
February 10, 200817 yr There's some good there. We really need a clickable map. Ohio is overrun with small towns and that could help me with my geography. Any takers?
February 10, 200817 yr My high school was in the same athletic conference as New London, so I've been there a few times. They have a nice reservoir/sledding hill and golf course(that's about it for a town of 2,700 people)! Basically, if you travel Route 250 between Norwalk and Ashland you will see farm fields, rusting farm equipment, lots of mobile homes, and a few Amish farmsteads. If that's not enough excitement for you, a couple of miles west of New London is Fitchville, home to Expressions of Fitchville, a BYOB strip club; and Freedom Valley, an all-male gay-friendly campground. Oh Huron County, how I love thee :)
February 10, 200817 yr Located where Ashland, Huron, and Lorain counties come together: <a href="http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp?address=&city=New%20London&state=OH&zipcode=44851&country=US&title=%3cb%3e%3cspan%20style%3d%22display%3ainline%3bmargin%2dbottom%3a0px%3b%22%20class%3d%22locality%22%3eNew%20London%3c%2fspan%3e%2c%20%3cspan%20style%3d%22display%3ainline%3bmargin%2dbottom%3a0px%3b%22%20class%3d%22region%22%3eOH%3c%2fspan%3e%20%3cspan%20style%3d%22display%3ainline%3bmargin%2dbottom%3a0px%3b%22%20class%3d%22postal%2dcode%22%3e44851%3c%2fspan%3e%2c%20%20%3cspan%20style%3d%22display%3ainline%3bmargin%2dbottom%3a0px%3b%22%20class%3d%22country%2dname%22%3eUS%3c%2fspan%3e%3c%2fb%3e%3c%2fspan%3e&cid=lfmaplink2&name=&dtype=s">Map of New London, OH 44851, US</a> Also--side note--CNN Headline News morning news anchor and former Miss Ohio Robin Meade is from New London.
