For whatever it's worth, "Time Out New York" magazine's current issue features Columbus on its Travel page. Not having been there for many years (over 20), I had no clue its "hipness" factor had progressed to this level (then again, "Schmidt's Sausage Haus..." is mentioned). Or is this just propaganda?

Alright I love Columbus to death especially the inner city but damn, the midwestern San Francisco? Come on now. I've never been to SF but from what I've seen and know about the place it has to be apples to oranges.

Must be Columbus' hilly topography.

I went to comfest on accident! I didn't even know it was going on, I was just walking around town taking pictures. I didn't realize comfest was such a big event but there was tons of people there. Bunch of damn hippies!

 

 

Bah, those are some of the worst shots of Columbus I've seen in a long time.

 

Lots of details, which i like, but I prefer something a little more masculine. Those look like giant dollhouses.

Eh, it's a fluff piece.  Columbus is not a Midwest San Fran as there IS no place like San Fran.  Columbus is Columbus, and that's that.
