but you also said "it doesn't kill".

I absolutely stand by this statement whether you say more, quicker or more regular.

Did I mention that I am not actually advocating the legalizing of steroids?  My point was that if you pick one drug to legalize, what arguments can you give me that I can not apply to other drugs to be legalized?

1.  Steroid use causes death.  Suicide/homocide, liver/kidney failure, heart attack, & cancer.

2.  One argument would be the severity of side effect associated with its usage.  One can regularly drink alcohol in responsible fashion and suffer no ill-effects.  You can't "regularly and responsibly" use steroids, heroin, crystal meth, or many other drugs.

So does breathing (read the back of an aspirin bottle) but I get your overall point of severity.

I believe many would argue with this unless you mean that you can not legally use steroids regularly and responsibly.  First, how do you define regularly? Second, how do you define responsibly?  I would argue that one could do both and would seperate that from heroin, crystal meth and many other drugs that have physical and phsycological dependencies that steroids do not.

Once again, not advocating the legalization of steroids.

We do not need a limit on "last call" with bars/clubs/taverns. Believe me, I would still be calling it a night as I normally do, but if I have a friend in town and we're out chit-chatting and having a beer, I don't like the idea that we have to be out of there by 2:30 a.m.

It's not like 2:30 is a safe-er time to head home?

:police: :police: :police: I say let the business owners decide on when they want to close up. Just like the smoking law ...  :police: :police: :police:

Legalizing and de-criminalizing are two different things.  I was not suggessting the legalization of marijuana, or any drugs for that matter, but rather the lessening of the penalties for it.  I personally think a fine would suffice (much like a traffic violation)...you don't become a criminal for simply going over the speed limit or running a red light.

we need to create a fashion police/militia.

You'd be the first one arrested.

How is the current law written?  I hear constant discussions about our laws being so much more leniant than KY hence all of the marijuana buys on Cincy side.  If I am smoking pot on the corner of 13th and Main, what would happen to me?

So, you're telling me that from this picture that I took of you the other day, that you'd be "the leader"?

That's the Fashion Police's Miami Vice Squad, apparently.
