February 20, 200817 yr *nods* I like it. Seems like Antwerp is worth visiting. I'll have to put it on the itinerary. I did have to brighten up a couple of the photos but either way the place looks excellent.
February 20, 200817 yr Awesome. Belgium rocks. One of the coolest things about Antwerp is the public pedestrian tunnel under the river (see below)- I wonder if something like that would make sense for Cleveland? February 20, 200817 yr Belgium is perhaps the Switerland of the North(west) with its infusion of German, Dutch, and French architecture. "You don't just walk into a bar and mix it up by calling a girl fat" - buildingcincinnati speaking about new forumers
February 22, 200817 yr Great to see Antwerp here. It is one of my favorite cities, and I've spent quite a bit of time there. A few years ago I took my sister there and it is her absolute favorite in Europe. Very cosmopolitan, the architecture is beautiful, the people wonderful and the food is delicious. If only the Dutch would take some cooking lessons from their neighbors to the south!! It seems much larger than it is and IMO is the best large city in the Lowlands hands down.
