Support Your Local: Cincinnati

I am starting this thread because I haven't been able to find a thread that showcases our local celebrities, fads or sensations.  Please make this section about Cincinnati.  Why not make up another thread, Support Your Local: Cleveland or Dayton or whatever.  I would like to know what is all availible where I live.  The "alternative" newspapers can only show so much. 

To start off, I have a friend who rides BMX.  There is a strong underground of Cincinnati BMX that hardly anyone knows about.  They were featured once in a City Beat. 

All the bikers are from Cincinnati and love the city just as much as everyone on Urban Ohio, just in a different way.  Some of you local "Urban Hikers" might notice groups of guys riding certain spots with all their gear set up (camera's, spotlights, etc.) near buildings, rails (arm railings), parking lots and all things urban.  They ride EVERYWHERE they find a ridable spot.  They ride in Price Hill, UC Campus, OTR, Downtown, the Burbs. 

Recently my friend filmed and produced an ALL Cincinnati BMX video.  The video featured all riders from Cincinnati in all Cincinnati spots.  They have a website;  www.youthbmx.com and the video is called From Nothing.  These are legit professional BMX Riders.  Many have been around the country on tours and some have been across the pond to travel and ride in Europe.  One of the guys is Tony Neyer, don't believe me, Google his name. 

These guys work hard, ride hard and a couple of them go to school full-time at UC.  A couple are in DAAP and my friend who made this video is in CCM.  These guys are legit.  Check out the website, check out some of their videos on YouTube. 

I am not trying to sell a product here.  I am exposing another fabulous part of Cincinnati.  Do you guys have any others?  This is the purpose of this Thread.
