When I first moved into Gravity, I was worried about the noise with it being right next to the tracks, but it ended up barely being noticeable inside. Are you along the tracks? I see people say it’s super loud all the time, sic I’m always curious.

When I lived there, I was over the east courtyard (overlooked Roosevelt and Tafts), so close, but not closest. One of my friends is in one that is right next to the tracks. I’ve never heard him complain about the noise, but I’ll ask him next time I see him.

I feel like it’s probably people that have never lived in the city in general. All noises are loud at that point, you just get used to them.

August 12, 20231 yr Wood framing has started to rise at the Peer on 7th And you can see it just beginning to rise in the distance
August 12, 20231 yr From 4th & 5th Wood framing has started on the housing that will stretch along 4th And a couple from the east side of the site
August 23, 20231 yr Another elevator core is rising at the Peer on 7th From King and High -while I was stopped at the light

That’s 7 months out from this week, not completely out of the realm, but I’m more leaning your side it’ll be summer or fall 2024.

September 23, 20231 yr Here’s an interesting one - Looks like a dog park bar to be built at 345 E. Second, near the Lusso and Station 324 apartments. Looks like ownership is related to All Paws Retreat, in Franklinton. Plan submitted by an “All Paws Social.” Here’s the site plan: Here’s the existing site:

I hope their marketing is strong because they won’t get much for traffic over there.

I’m holding out hope that Kroger eventually builds a new 6-7 story building in the current parking lot with a store on the first floor. It would finish that corner nicely. They should pilot some new urban grocery store design right there just like they tested the new super Kroger design (idk what it's called) in Newark. When I was the health inspector there, we had like a dozen people from corporate present for that licensing inspection which is NOT normal. You're an Ohio company, do something cool in Ohio!

Don't even need to pilot it. Just copy the Kroger on the Rhine.

If they do not remove the current store, the parking lot should be a parking garage with apartments on top and ground floor condo's or Townhomes facing High St.
October 25, 20231 yr With how often the current lot is full I'm surprised Krogers didn't include parking on the roof as part of the rebuild
