March 17, 20223 yr Correct, no more stuff. Just pop that b!tch (url) in there and it'll automatically show the photo. "You don't just walk into a bar and mix it up by calling a girl fat" - buildingcincinnati speaking about new forumers
September 24, 20222 yr I’m cross posting this here because I keep seeing the question from people who say “I’ve maxed out my photo storage”. Here’s how to address this challenge @marty15 There are several simple solutions: - Premium membership is only $4/month or $40/yr! Throw @richNcincy a bone and monetarily contribute to this wonderful community. No ads plus significantly more photo storage plus even easier editing of posts. (Just remember to renew when the invoice comes up because I don’t think it auto-renews) - Post to a photo sharing platform and then link. Depending on how the other service works, this can be really easy and appears seamless on the page. (I use Google photos and it’s a total pain to get the direct link, so if sharing photos here is your goal, pick a different service. You need something that posts the hyperlink address as … .jpg or .png or other photo format) - Post to Twitter and then embed the Twitter link. ( @Luke_S was asking about this, so here are instructions: at the bottom of the Tweet, click the share button, then copy link, then paste that link here and the Tweet shows up.) Be aware that loading those Tweets slows down page loading for everyone, but it is mostly an accepted practice (as long as they contribute to the conversation). -Dig in to your account and delete old photos that are no longer relevant. When is the last time I-71 turned a profit?
October 21, 2024Oct 21 Um, Photobucket just changed after 20 years of working the exact same way and after 5 minutes of fiddling I can't figure out how to post a photo. It's like, I spend all week solving computer problems. Then Photobucket comes along and ruins my Sunday night by deciding to make it difficult to do the ONE THING ANYONE USES IT FOR.
October 21, 2024Oct 21 Looking at their website, it looks like you have to have the better of the two plans to be able to share images. I'm going to assume you have that type of account. Neither plan allow embedding links for hosting, just not exactly sure what they mean by that.

I let my account expire which meant they came back at me with a lower offer. It now looks like they want $13/mo. All of this online stuff works the same way - get a quote, don't buy the thing, and they come running for you with a lower price.
