March 26, 200817 yr I have a soft spot for this place...I was in not one, but TWO weddings there. It's such a quaint little city...the square is nice, the countryside is beautiful, and there's just enough retail and chains to sustain them. Make sure you go to Thorne's IGA for grocery- awesome! (and they blocked out Wal-Mart!)
March 26, 200817 yr "It's such a quaint little city" Quaint? Yes. Little? Definitely. City? Ummm... Nice photos of a place a bit too remote and small for my taste. :-) clevelandskyscrapers.com Cleveland Skyscrapers on Instagram
March 26, 200817 yr I like it. Imposing courthouse, but somebody sure f-ed up the windows. The middle building in this block is kind of unusual, especially in a small farm town. I like it.
March 26, 200817 yr I guess one of these days I'm going to have to come back to Ohio again and visit. haha This town is so cool.
March 26, 200817 yr I love what they've done with the courthouse windows. I also love how the "N" in "Ben Franklin" spills over on to the adjacent building lol and this silver building is AMAZING

March 27, 200817 yr ^Makes sense, since those would be the foothills of the Appalachians. clevelandskyscrapers.com Cleveland Skyscrapers on Instagram
March 30, 200817 yr Carrollton has the advantage of being pretty isolated so the business district around the square is still pretty lively (compared to many other similarly situated towns closer to larger cities and highway "big box-ville") The court house does look nice from the outside but the interior is not particularly outstanding. The judge (the county has only one Common Pleas judge) is a great guy.
