Whats going folks!

I have a question for you.  I have friends who will be externing at Cleveland Clinic the semester.  One from Brooklyn and the other from Jersey.  They have the option to stay at Case, but are second guessing it because it doesnt have air condition..lol.  I wanted to know where they could possibly live for the summer for about 2-3 months thats not far from the clinic.  They dont have a car..so public transportation or walking distance would be great....

Thanks 3231..that was very helpful.  Nothing over $650 per person im guessing MayDay.

If they room together, then they'll have a lot more options.

where would they be staying at CWRU that doesn't have AC???

The Alhambra in Cleveland Heights has temporary housing.  It's more than $650, but if they room together they may be able to afford it.

The WT Grant Lofts downtown do short-term housing, and I think it would fit into your price range if they roomed together.  The website isn't much, (http://www.wtgrantloftapartments.com); I would recommend just calling them.

Public transportation to the clinic from there should be fairly simple and it would put them in the middle of downtown during their downtime.

From this weekend, the ones I remember who have temp housing were Statler Arms (some furnished), I think Bridgeview Apts, WT Grant Lofts, and maybe Reserve Square.

Alhambra, Alcazar, some sort of Moorish fortress or palace or whatever...

Oops, my bad!

Lol..thanks everyone for their input. I will pass the information along to them and update you on the outcome.  Map Boy they would be staying at the South Residential Village, but I also learned that they had to pay $24 a day and they are there for 9 weeks.  So I guess they rather get a furnished one bedroom and share it.  But Case is still an option as of now.

If you look on craigslist there should be listings for temporary/summer housing not too far from the Clinic in neighborhoods such as University Circle, Little Italy or Cleveland Heights. A lot of those places rent to students during the academic year, and I know they look for summer renters. Air conditioning might be hard to find.
