July 18, 200519 yr EZ only if you are a native West Sider ;-) Looked like an airstrip at 1st...then it dawned on me http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=39.278843,-84.372962&spn=0.011436,0.013923&t=k&hl=en The complex on both sides of the road
July 18, 200519 yr OK, I think I got a hard one since you asked. What is the name of the company pictured in the center of the map. http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=39.303439,-84.478630&spn=0.007491,0.010131&t=k&hl=en
July 20, 200519 yr I don't either, but I've done a remarkably poor job on this for all seven pages, so don't judge by me!
July 20, 200519 yr OK OK... It is Northrop Grumman Xetron Http://www.xetron.com Try this one on for size... http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=39.321227,-84.414482&spn=0.006839,0.010131&t=k&hl=en

July 20, 200519 yr ^ HA, no I was looking for the name (or former name) of the facility north of the softball fields. To give you a hint, you can pan around the image which will help you with location :) Oh I know EXACTLY where it is...can't rememnber the name... ahhhh...Queen City Softball??
July 20, 200519 yr I was referring to the former race track that is now a truck driving school at Cin-Day Road and Union Centre. I will try an easier one: http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=39.158760,-84.408613&spn=0.007491,0.010131&t=k&hl=en

July 21, 200519 yr Yeah that was pretty easy :) BTW, here is a map that CINYC made last year that I kept:
July 21, 200519 yr Oh...I thought you were referring to the dirt patch! http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=39.372189,-84.583011&spn=0.012007,0.017225&t=k&hl=en

July 22, 200519 yr Mt. Airy Forest. Said to be the largest urban park in the U.S.A. at 1,459 acres, although you can argue about the definition of an urban park. Central Park in New York is some 800 acres. Mt. Airy Forest used to be even bigger before I-74 was cut through.

July 23, 200519 yr Are you looking for Swifton Commons? Jordan Crossing? Reading and Seymour? The old Huntington Meadows? Walgreens? :D
July 23, 200519 yr Swifton Commons will do. This was the biggest parking lot in Cincinnati when it opened. Your turn.
July 23, 200519 yr Please name the park in the middle of the photo: http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=39.203210,-84.532993&spn=0.004652,0.008613&t=k&hl=en (difficulty = somewhat hard)
July 23, 200519 yr I didn't know the park, so I tried that new "hybrid" button they have - wow, that's just fantastic!
July 29, 200519 yr Yeah, that one may be too hard to someone who doesn't live nearby. It's McEvoy Park in College Hill. Someone else feel free to post a new one. I locked the game up for a few days!
July 29, 200519 yr I'll go - staying with the park theme... http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=39.124026,-84.530622&spn=0.003772,0.007308&t=k&hl=en

July 31, 200519 yr Yes, it's Alms Park. The first road south of the park with the very sharp bend is Columbia Parkway. This is the point where the Little Miami River valley and Ohio River Valley meet. Your turn.
July 31, 200519 yr How about this? http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=39.021218,-84.133687&spn=0.015109,0.029232&t=k&hl=en
July 31, 200519 yr East Fork State Park, home of William H. Harsha Lake. There is some interesting hiking there. The area was farmland before the lake was formed, complete with cornfields, ponds, driveways, roads, and all. The buildings have been removed, but there are remnants of everything else. The last time I went hiking I found some corn still growing.

August 1, 200519 yr Yes, it's University Plaza, also known as the Corryville Kroger. If you ever go there, notice how there is a sidewalk encircling the site, but mostly not connected to the buildings. Nevertheless, there is heavy pedestrian traffic, forming huge muddy areas where there is supposed to be grass. One such trail climbs down a steep slope around a retaining wall. The buildings are in the center of the site, surrounded by parking. The truck loading dock is at the farthest possible point from the street, forcing trucks to circle around the site. Dumpsters are scattered about. Bus riders are forced to wait in an awkward concrete island in the middle of the street. At least the front door of the Kroger connects to the sidewalk on Short Vine. In my humble opinion, this is an awful example of site design. The shame is that it could have been so much nicer. Enough of that. Your turn.
August 1, 200519 yr Sidewalks encircling the site were built by the City along the streets... http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=39.148550,-84.416091&spn=0.012220,0.014004&t=k&hl=en
