i'm trying to imagine how exactly a chicago gyro is different from a....gyro? do they add pickles and celery salt?  :laugh:

Well I like quickies so....its all good. 

I just picked up gyros from Chicago Gyros last week.  They are better than the Greek store on Ludlow (Mediterranean something).  I think my mouth is watering.

This morning I noticed a new clifton heights sign buy the gaslights they installed on clifton. Does anyone have a picture of it or is it to new?

noticed that today as well.  Definitely new. 

Those signs are new...I noticed them today as well as I was leaving Cilantro (oh...one of the best lunches I've ever had).

I snapped a pic of one of the two new signs along Clifton Ave.

 

I think it looks nice, but they sure did let that landscaped median go unkempt pretty quickly.

I haven't noticed that sign. Looks great. I'd really like to see those uptown signs replaced. It could do wonders for branding.
