I think it might have been a bit of sour grapes on Ronayne's part.

 

And you know what, more power to him!  I hope it makes those guys squirm a little bit.  The next time a company is thinking of relocating outside of the city, this could be a trump card.  But really, it just made my immature emotional vindictive side all gleefull   :clap:

god this makes me want to dig up that huge article the PD did on the cost of doing business in major cities across the US......anyone remember the title or anything?

This company is simply not performing. I wonder how much longer they will be open. Maybe if they would have saved money by choosing Cleveland they wouldn't be in such bad financial shape.

-- OfficeMax Inc., struggling to keep up with its competition in the crowded office-supplies business, said Tuesday that it will close 110 retail superstores across the United States and make other restructuring moves in the first quarter.
