[*]I'm using the new "blacknblack" theme.  However the "black rain" them doesn't work

[*]The "quick reply" box (which I should never use) has a problem.  As you're typing the text runs off the right side of the box, never to be seen.

[*]For some reason the format of the replies does not line up.  There is a huge amount of space between the space where the date/time/post number and the actual post itself.

Other than that, I'm not having any issues. 

 

Note:  bullet points are now much easier to use!!

I don't know if it is intentional or not, but the UrbanOhio logo in the upper left (while viewing forum threads) is no longer a link back to the main page.

There are some issues with safari, such as white buttons at the end of the menu bars.  But that's really it.

That's sucky. I use the same theme, but for Firefox. There were also bullets under the profile name for every item. (stars, status, posts, etc.)

I guest noticed that, near the bottom of the page, the site navigation is missing. It's this stuff:

It's at the top of the page, but not at the bottom. I realize it's a small thing, but having it at the bottom too (since we all read from top to bottom in this country)makes the site easier to use than having to scroll back up to the top to negotiate the site.

Thats my only complaint so far too.  I'll look into it.

i'm still seeing a large amount of open space.  it seems at though the post by people with avatars are the post which are the most affected.

What theme and browser are you using?

It looks as though on the default theme that the urbanohio.com ad block is a different class than the posts (read not windowbg or windowbg2). It also looks as though the div that separates posts is missing for the last real post and the urbanohio.com ad. (See attachment if you can't see that). This issue is experienced with Firefox 3, latest version.

 

Edit: Also, it appears as though attachment thumbnails isn't turned on. Sorry!

 

Edit Edit: The Edit Calendar Button at the bottom of that photo is screwed up. Oh, Betas are fun!

The same huge spacing issue and quick reply rolling is happening with IE 6, so I'll look into that too.

To all those using IE 6, let me know if any of your issues are still present.

I use firefox - the only issue I'm having is that the advertisement on the top of the page is a little off to the right from where it should be. Just an aesthetic issue.

 

Would also be nice if Ads by Google were a little lower from the tab bar but I'm guessing that's intentional so you'll click.

Edit: looks like when I hit quick reply, the text rolls off the screen as I'm typing. However, when I hit preview, the formatting is correct and the text wraps to the next line.

Spacing issue appears to have been resolved.

I am still having to do a hard return or my words run off the page into la-la land.  I am using IE 6 (and can't upgrade,

we aren't allowed to do that here at work).

Don't worry, I have IE6 and I'm having the same issues (and I can't upgrade either).  So we're working on that!

It looks like the spacing issues are fixed.  Now we just need to get the quick reply box working and everything should be working fine.

Yes I tried to upgrade again.  I'll have to re-fix the issues with ie 6 again.

Everything should be working properly now, except for the quick reply issue.  Can someone let me know if it's still happening?

I'm not sure if anyone else has noticed, but when I copy and paste an article as a post or reply, often i have to (first) post my reply, then modify so that I can edit and format.

 

I've had issues with copy/paste ever since the switch was made to wysiwyg format. So now I just paste to clipboard first which removes all the formatting from the source and then do my own.

Added APC caching to the forum.  Let me know if anyone has any issues or notices an improvement.

I did remove signatures, but it was suppose to be for only new memebers.  We've had too many new spam accounts signing up adding spam links in their signatures.
