I've been looking at the photos I've taken over the years and noticed there is a bunch I've never posted.  These were taken August 13, 2007.

Albion is a city with about 9,144 people in Calhoun County.  It is home to Albion College, a private liberal arts college with a student population of about 1,950.

What a cute town!

But ... what the heck? Put up some mast-arm traffic signals! Get rid of the wire spans!

Anymore, mast-arm signals are so commonplace that wires are the nostalgic option.

Very nice!

Looks like a nice down.  I've always wondered about Albion, but I think it was always more because of their black squirrels.

I like the wide all-brick street.  That's pretty cool

Really like this.

I wish Coca Cola was still 5 cents (although it probably still costs probably a cent to make it, bottle asside)

Sweet.

I think they should go back to traffic signals at the top of posts on the corners; anyone else here old enough to remember those? They really teach you to pay attention, and it'd get rid of a lot of visual clutter.

Might thin out the incompetent, inattentive and non-defensive drivers in a pretty short time.
