Hey! Call your mothers and tell them how much you appreciate everything they have done for you throughout your life. She's one of the few people in this life you can truely count on, so you owe her that. Plus she gave birth to your @ss. Jewelry and flowers help  8-) Happy mothers day to any mothers on this forum --though I doubt there are any lol.

Flowers.  I remember when I was young ripping weeds with a bit of color out of a vacant lot and giving them to my mom for mothers day.  They came complete with bugs.  She'd give a smile and put them in a vase.  The sh!ts would be dead the next morning, and tossed out by noon, but I'd hardly notice.

To give a sense of how unique and wonderful my mother is, I'll share my present with you all. 

 

I'm getting her a bag of dirt, a Sharpie, a roll of toilet paper, Super glue, a moldy piece of bread (which I've been delicately aging for weeks,) and a mix CD filled with Trance music. 

 

The best part about this gift is she'll completely love all of it.  It sort of an inside joke that's impossible to explain.  But she'll use all of it in one single event that's completely, 100% my mother.  She's the best.

Okay you can't say you're giving your mother all of that and then not explain the inside joke lol

 

Ian--You should see the crappy artwork I've made her in the past for Mothers Day! I've always been a good artist but it's embarassing when she brings out the old crappy child art work and shows people when they come over. Ugh.
