I have finally convinced my friends, who rarely visit downtown, that Cleveland is amazing and we have a bunch of things planned out, so better pictures are to come from the adventures. :)
May 11, 200817 yr I love guitar mania, but it needs to expand. I suggested having drum sets and drum lines Marching toward north coast and that they should sponsor a "drum line". That would bring tons of people downtown.
May 11, 200817 yr Thanks for the shots! "You don't just walk into a bar and mix it up by calling a girl fat" - buildingcincinnati speaking about new forumers
June 11, 200817 yr Was the Cleveland-themed guitar done by Hector Vega? It looks like a lot of his work.
June 11, 200817 yr ^That is most def a Hector Vega. (He was my art teacher at Cudell Rec in the mid 90s!)
June 11, 200817 yr Here's a link to a site where you can look at all of the guitars and see who designed them: http://www.cleveland.com/guitarmania/ I also met a guy (Billy) in NYC when I was there in April who designed a guitar at some point (I had been at McSorely's for a awhile so specifics...eh...) Anyway, he grew up in Mentor and apparently has done well for himself. I hadn't heard of him until I met him, but he gave me a card and here's a link to his website: http://www.billyartnyc.com/ He seemed cool; really nice (although I think everyone is nice inside McSorelys).
June 23, 200816 yr North Point is so nice. I really think with the Avenue Project, this area will pick up a bit more.
