Here are some photos from the Flower Carpet on Fountain Square, taken from ground level.

 

The butterfly design by Clifton artist Jan Brown Checco was composed of 20,000 pansies of various colors and included small patches of grass and mulch pathways for public use.

 

When it was disassembled, the potted flowers were given away for free.

 

For some reason, I later walked down to Second Street and got a few photos there.

 

And then there's a random Hyde Park shot....
