Continuing my week of road trippin' and time away from the community development grind, I spent some time in three neighborhoods in Pittsburgh this afternoon.

Mt. Washington overlooks Downtown Pitt.  There are all kinds of cool observation areas.

This wasn't from Mt. Washington, but was shot from below.  It's close to where you can hitch a ride on the incline to the nabe.

 

 

Here's the neighborhood.  The streets are pretty tight...people tend to park with two wheels on the sidewalk.

The neighborhood has cool topography.  There's a dollar store and supermarket on the right-hand side.

Nice! On balmy summer nights, the overlooks draw a lot of people of all ages. It's a pleasant feeling to be in the midst of such a mixed crowd just enjoying the evening.
