That’s from property line to property line so it may be less as curb to curb it’s about 35 feet wide. Light rail tracks are generally 12-14 feet wide so for a double track that’s 28 feet. If you want to fit one lane in each direction (10’ each) plus a turning lane where needed and sidewalk and planter strip you’d run out of room and that’s not even getting to additional width needed for station platforms. It’s not feasible without demolishing half the existing buildings facing 5th. it urgently needs a street scape revamp and buried power lines but I think the bus line is appropriate just increase frequencies. This street could handle a single tracked streetcar at most and I even think that would be hard to make work.

With better transit people wouldn’t need cars, so realistically a turning lane isn’t required. Less traffic, less difficulties turning. It is still a long shot and would probably be better as a raised line, if they ever did anything.

You would either need to go above or below.
April 9Apr 9 If one were to take shots every time someone mentioned buried power lines on this website, I'm not sure one would ever be sober.

April 9Apr 9 ^That red line should continue to Bridge Park (west) and downtown New Albany (east) and I'd be happy with it. "You don't just walk into a bar and mix it up by calling a girl fat" - buildingcincinnati speaking about new forumers

April 10Apr 10 I'm one for the subway just as everyone else, but I'd be happy with more frequent buses, new paved roads, buried power lines, and a grade separated bike lane on one side...

May 3May 3 Todd bought the building in 2009 off of a lady that used to work at the old clock shop at the corner of Chambers and Northwest. She told me about the bar being a drug den before Todd bought it. She inherited it from of her ex-husband if I remember right. I owned a video game store next to the clock shop and it seemed like they got bored a lot so they were always coming over. I don't know if she worked at the clock shop to avoid working at the bar or what.
