We only dated for a year or so before that but we've known each other since we were kids. December 6, 200816 yr Just last week I got a copy of all of my medical records for my home files. I am officially listed as "widowed". My partner died almost 19 years ago, when we were both quite young. This came as quite a shock to me, on many levels. First, I do not think of myself in those terms; secondly, had no idea that was what was in my medical file; and thirdly, was surprised that California considered that relationship valid so long ago. I consider myself very single, and bloody likely at this point to stay that way, damn it.

Ha, eerie, we had a University Circle anniversary as well. We stayed at the Glidden House (one of the mansion suites), had dinner in Little Italy, and lunch the next day at Sergio's. I've wanted to try L'Albatross since talk of it opening on here, but haven't made it up there yet. Hope you have fun!

We're both happy with where we're at, and both want to finish college and get jobs in order before we dot the i's and cross the t's. So probably another year or so before the inevitable happens.
