Posted July 1, 200816 yr If you've never ridden a bike in German Village at night then you have not experienced German Village. And yes, I'm going to buy a tripod. OK, I know, the first one is the Brewery District. Even German Village parking lots are ugly. Couldn't they be all brick? Don't you just "adoor" these? (It hurt me more than it hurt you.) Even the alleys here are picturesque. What we chose to replace the northern portion of German Village with. We Columbusites are a very cultured people. Ahh, it'd be too depressing to end on that note. There, that's much better.
July 1, 200816 yr thanks, I always look forward to pics of German Village. The last one is Lindey's, right? I went there a million years ago when it was a much more casual place--pizza, salads, omlettes, etc (very 70's!)--but still had a beautiful interior and garden (also a rooftop bar area). (And prior to that I think it was the short-lived Lindenhof--very upscale for Columbus of that era) http://www.mainstreetpainesville.org/
