Posted July 3, 200816 yr The following photos were taken May 21 and 22. The first photos are from Hopkins Park in Mount Auburn. The park, which has existed near the intersection of Sycamore, Auburn and Dorchester since 1866, was renovated and re-opened in a ceremony on May 7. Other photos were taken from Via Vite during a Soapbox event, and of the exterior of the Oceanaire during an interview for a Soapbox story. View all 2,423 of my Cincinnati photos in my Photobucket gallery 1. It was a Wednesday afternoon, so no one was around. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. This intersection sucks, but it makes for some eye candy. 7. 8. The Body Snatcher...yeah, great name. I wouldn't be surprised if residents of Walker Street, Auburn Terrace, Bigelow Street and other residents in the "Keys Hill" area try to get this place shut down. 9. 10. 11. 12. 13. 14. 15. Shortly after photographing this and then going behind to try to get some City vistas, a resident decided to play Detective Joe Friday. It didn't matter - there were no good views anyway. 16. 17. 18. 19. 20. 21. Fountain Square. I forget what this was, but it was a fundraiser. 22. 23. 24. 25. 26. The Oceanaire 27. 28. 29. A Bootsy Collins/Jeff Ruby joint.

July 3, 200816 yr BTW...CDM...I think you called me a while ago...like two weeks or something. Leave a message, I'll call you back!
July 3, 200816 yr I like the angle in #17, too bad that massive blank wall kills what would otherwise be a fabulous street canyon.
July 4, 200816 yr BTW...CDM...I think you called me a while ago...like two weeks or something. Leave a message, I'll call you back! Ugh. Fine. "You don't just walk into a bar and mix it up by calling a girl fat" - buildingcincinnati speaking about new forumers
July 4, 200816 yr It's on Fountain Square to the left of the passage to 6th street, to the right of Vine, and basically directly behind Via Vite. Though the sinage should be visable from most of the square...
July 4, 200816 yr Where is #23 at? I passed by this the other day and can't find it again :( You have so much to learn young Cincinnatian. :-D
July 8, 200816 yr Number 17 is a cool shot - we don't see enough of the accordion side of the Macy's building. I sometimes think it would have been better if they had turned the entire building around.
